Marina Del Rey, CA - Lawrence Allen Samuelson passed away peacefully in Marina Del Rey, California on March 23, 2025. Known as "Larry" to family and friends, he was born in Cleveland, Ohio and is proceeded in death by his parents Beryl and Jean Samuelson. He is survived by his two daughters, his beloved sister, and three

nieces and extended family.

Larry's career started as an honor graduate from San Jacinto High School and Rice University School of Architecture. As an accomplished athlete and sportsman, he won medals and trophies for his endeavors. He enjoyed handball, racket ball, rollerblading, cycling and skiing and excelled in all sports. He was

highly competitive and always enjoyed a challenge with anyone who was willing to take him on. He loved to sing and would talk in fluent Spanish to anyone who would listen.

After 35 years with Genuine Parts Company and NAPA, Larry established his own architectural consulting firm as Founder and President of The Samuelson Company. His experience in all phases of architecture, construction management

and development formed the core of the company. His consultation assignments covered areas in Connecticut, Ohio, Texas, California and Louisiana, namely New Orleans Canal Place.

Larry eventually moved his operations to Chengdu, China where he was associated with BNBM Group in Qingbaijiang, a local subsidiary of BNBM Group Beijing, China's leading LGS Manufacturer and Supplier of Building Materials manufacturer. His China operation gave him access to large scale mixed use developments, hotels housing projects, retail malls, civic projects and manufacturing facilities. Larry was a frequent guest lecturer at the Sichuan

University Architectural School and member of the American Chamber Commerce of Southwest China.

Larry returned to the United States in 2023 where he continued the core of his company's mission in California. One of his latest project involved designing container apartments and living spaces.

Larry will be remember for his talents, intellect and ability to connect with people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

To fulfill Larry's wishes, his ashes were scattered off the coast of California in the Pacific Ocean.
